The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating an accident between a work truck and a school bus in Douglas County.
K-H-P says the school bus was stopped on K-33 near the junction with US-56 about 6 miles east of Baldwin City just after 7am yesterday. The bus had its amber lights and stop sign activated and was waiting for a student to board when the bus was rear-ended by a pickup truck. There were 11 students on the bus at the time of the accident and three sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the truck 19-year-old Kaden Kerr of Eudora also sustained minor injuries. All of the injuries parties were treated at the scene.
