An Evergy lineman is injured while working on a job in Kingman.
The utility company says Derby resident and Evergy jouneyman lineman Brandon Kaufman was seriously injured last week while working to repair a power outage near Kingman. Details of Kaufman's injuries were not revelaed but he was taken to a Wichita hospital where he has been receiving treatment for the past week.
A GoFundMe set up for Kaufman's family says he will be unable to work for the near future.
