The Fredonia Fire Department along with units from Wilson County Rural Fire conduct a water rescue mission on Fall River.

Around 3pm Monday afternoon, emergency crews were called to the scene at Mill Dam on Fall River, located about a mile southwest of the City of Fredonia. Upon their arrival, rescue crews found a vehicle that had gone into the water. Responders were able to use water rescue equipment to pull the car from the river. The Neodesha fire Department responded to the call as well, but were canceled before they arrived on scene.

No injuries were reported.
