Three Girard residents are injured in a single-vehicle crash in Crawford County.
27-year-old Jaina Snyder was traveling eastbound on K-47 around 10:30 Sunday morning just east of Girard when she swerved to avoid hitting an animal in the roadway. The action caused her 2005 Honda Accord to leave the roadway to the right where it then struck a culvert. Her vehicle continued where it then struck a road sign and then an embankment. That sent the Accord into spin before it overturned and struck an electrical pole.
Snyder was taken to the Girard Medical Center with minor injuries. Two juvenile passengers in her vehicle also suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital as well.
