A juvenile suspect is in custody in connection to a bomb threat made against the Hutchinson Regional Airport.

Authorities say an unidentified male caller made the threat over the phone around 8am on Friday morning. Hutchinson Police responded to the scene and determined there was no bomb at the airport. With help from the Wichita Police Department, the juvenile suspect was identified and taken into custody.

The suspect has been charged with aggravated criminal threat and the charges have been forwarded to the Reno County Attorney’s Office.
