Cherryvale will honor the Cherryvale High School 1975 State Runner-Up football team at their upcoming October 17 game.
That historic team had a record of 12 wins with their only loss coming in the 2A Championship game against Beloit. There will be a half-time ceremony to recognize the team during the home football game against Bluestem at the Logan Park Stadium.
The school is looking for any former players, coaches, cheerleaders, and managers who were a part of the 1975 team to contact Cherryvale High School to help plan and be a part of the event.
