A recent graduate of Neodesha High School earns a national honor for his academic career.
Tucker Leck has been selected by the U.S. Department of Education as a 2025 Presidential Scholar. Leck is one of 161 students chosen nationwide for the honor. The award honors high school graduates who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, leadership, citizenship, service, and contributions to their school and community. Leck was chosen as one of 20 Career and Technical Education Scholars out of more than 6,000 eligible students. As part of this recognition, Leck named Neodesha High School teacher Amber Botts as his most influential teacher.
Leck graduated from N-H-S in May and was the Class of 2025 valedictorian.
