A Chanute woman is arrested and facing charges after a hit and run incident.

Yesterday, Chanute Police officers responded to the 700 block of West Cherry Street for a reported hit and run accident. After speaking to those involved, officers located and arrested 38-year-old Kayla Platt.

She is facing charges of driving under the influence, failure to stop at an accident, interference with law enforcement, endangering a child and disorderly conduct.
