A Frontenac man is injured in a three-vehicle crash near the Kansas/ Missouri state line.
The accident occurred just after noon yesterday at the intesection of K-126 and South 260th Street in Crawford County, about 4 miles east of the state line. 27-year-old Navada Hultgren of Frontenac received minor injuries when his 2013 Honda Accord was struck by a large truck driven by 31-year-old Marcus Salas of Midland, Texas. Salas failed to yield at a stop sign before turning on to K-126 causing the two vehicles to collide. That accident then caused Hultgren's Accord to strike a 2017 Jeep Wrangler driven by 48-year-old Amy Shannon of Humboldt as it sat at the stop sign on the other side of the intersection.
Hultgren was taken to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg while Salas and Shannon were uninjured.
