A chance to meet local candidates for the Coffeyville School Board, Coffeyville Community College Board of Trustees and the Coffeyville City Commission is coming up this week.

 

This Thursday, September 25th, candidates will be available for a meet-and-greet at the Coffeyville Country Club. Coffeyville Chamber Director Candi Westbrook says it's a great chance to get to know each candidate.

 

USD 445 candidates include Shanna Motl, Delia Northup and Denise Gates.

 

Four candidates are running for three positions on the CCC Board of Trustees. They include Dickie Rolls, Joe Miller, Becky Barnhart and David Baldwin. Candidates will be available from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

 

From 6:30 to 7:30, candidates for the Coffeyville City Commission will be available. They include William Kendall, Michael Golden, Deborah Maples and Don Edwards. While Edwards asked for his name to be removed from the ballot, the deadline had passed and he will remain on the ticket as the four candidates compete for three open positions. The final day to register to vote is October 15^th with the general election November 4^th.
