Bartlesville Man Faces Felony Assault Charges

A Bartlesville man faces felony assault charges in connection to a September 20 incident.

31-year-old Darrell Cooper has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of assault and battery. The charges stem from a September 20 incident where he allegedly punched one person and struck two others who intervened, causing visible facial injuries. Police say Cooper later returned to the scene with a baseball bat, threatening two victims while appearing intoxicated. He has a prior 2015 conviction for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Cooper is scheduled to appear in court on October 3, with bond set at $15,000.
