Two Oklahoma men are in custody in Cowley County in connection to a string of vehicle break-ins last week.

On September 14, police in Arkansas City responded to reports of a suspicious person looking into cars in a residential neighborhood. An unknown suspect has broken into two vehicles in the area and taken items from one of the cars. Officers were able to obtain an image of the suspect from surveillance video.

When officers received reports of more burglaries in the same area an hour later, police identified 29-year-old Thomas Pritchard and 30-year-old Aaron Holt, both of Ponca City, as suspects. Both were arrested and booked into the Cowley County Jail and face multiple charges inclduing burglary, theft and drug possession.
