Wilson County Old Iron Days kicks off tomorrow in Fredonia.
The four-day event features more than 30 working farm and domestic demonstrations, including antique engines, food processing, broom making and more. Organizer Mike Olson says one of the primary goals of the event is to pass knowledge down to the next generation.
Around 2,000 children are expected to attend this year's event. Olson says there's always something new to check out.
Volunteer Rod Meckley says everything will be running during the week from 8 to 4 with events on Saturday as well.
Admission buttons are $5 and are good for each day of the event, with children 12 and under free. All events take place at the old iron grounds in Fredonia near the intersection of US-400 and K-47.
