A Fort Scott man is seriously injured in a Saturday night accident in Bourbon County.
19-year-old Blaine Pitts suffered serious injuries over the weekend in a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of 265th Street and Quail Road, just west of the state line. Pitts was southbound on 265th Street as he approached the T-intersection in his 2006 Chevy Tahoe. According to the Kansas Highway patrol, he went through the intersection, off the roadway and crashed into a stand of trees. The Tahoe then caught fire.
