The Independence Optimist Club hosts their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser tomorrow morning.

The event will include free face painting, Plinko, and balloon animals. Independence Chamber President Lisa Wilson says the fundraiser features the world record holder for the most flapjacks flipped in an hour, the world-fanmous Chris Cakes.

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. It happens from 8 to 11am tomorrow at Dickie's at 204 North Penn in Independence.
