The Humanities Project from Coffeyville Community College welcomes Matt Watroba to the Spencer Rounds Theater .
Watroba is a community singer, educator, and Folk Alliance International Folk D.J. Hall of Fame inductee who offers a deep dive into the roots of American music. His program explores traditional styles including Native American music, spirituals, Appalachian folk, old-timey country, Cajun, and jug band, showing how these foundational sounds connect to the music we enjoy today. His passion for music, storytelling, and community shines through each presentation, blending education, performance, and humor in a way that resonates with all audiences.
Watroba will perform Tuesday night at 6:30 in the Spencer Rounds Theater on the CCC campus. Admission is free.
