Police in Columbus are investigating a new trend circulating among high school students via the social media platform Tik Tok.

The trend encourages individuals to post videos of themselves relieving themselves on public facilities. One user was seen on video committing this act on playground equipment at the City Park in Columbus. City officials call the trend a disgusting act that poses a health and safety risk to others. It is also a criminal offense.

Police are asking that anyone with information on the identity of the person who committed this act to contact the Columbus Police Department.
