Independence Community College honors its September Student of the Month.
At this week's ICC Board of Trustees meeting, the school awarded Trashaun Combs-Pierce for his work in the classroom and on the basketball court. ICC Vice President of Student Affairs David Adams says Combs-Pierce is a standout both on and off the court.
In addition to his academic and athletic accomplishments, Trashaun also gave back to the sport by working as a youth basketball referee during summer tournaments. His dedication and discipline have garnered attention from several Division I programs, with schools in the SEC and Big 10 actively recruiting him.
Combs-Pierce’s achievements reflect the high standards of Independence Community College, both academically and athletically. As he prepares for the next steps in his academic and athletic career, he stands as a distinguished representative of ICC’s commitment to excellence.
