A three-vehicle crash in Cherokee County leaves three people injured.
The accident happened around 7:30 yesterday morning on K-171, about two miles south of Pittsburg. A 2006 Chevy Equinox driven by 43-year-old Nicole Lee of Fort Scott was stopped on K-171 while attempting a left turn onto North 240th Street. Her vehicle was rear-ended by a 2014 Buick Encore driven by 36-year-old Randy Adams of Joplin. The collision forced Adams' vehicle into the oncoming lane of traffic where it collided head-on with a 2018 GMC Sierra driven by 46-year-old Mark Cochran of Oronogo, MO.
All three drivers received minor injuries in the accident.
