Emergency crews in Woodson County respond to a house fire near Toronto.
A three-story wood-frame home was destroyed in a fire Sunday morning near the area of 50th Road and Fox Road or about 4 miles east of the City of Toronto. When firefighters arrived on scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames. Woodson County Emergency Management says the blaze was fully extinguished by 1:30 Sunday afternoon. The home is considered a total loss.
The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
