USD 446 and Independence High School will host an online safety seminar for parents and other adults tomorrow night.
The seminar will feature the President and Founder of the Stop Trafficking Project Russ Tuttle. Tuttle will discuss strategies parents can use to keep their kids safe in an online world. His presentation will provide insight into the role of technology in exploiting young people, share tips for keeping students safe, and provide apps and other practical advice for helping parents navigate the issues of online safety.
Tomorrow's seminar runs from 6:30 to 8pm at the Performing Arts Center at IHS. This seminar is for parents and other adults. The event is free to attend. K through 12 students in Independence will hear age-appropriate seminars during the school day on Thursday.
