The repair of a railroad crossing on US-169 between Coffeyville and Cherryvale begins today.
The South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad crossing will be undergoing work this week and will cause the closure of US-169 near Liberty in both directions. Local traffic will be allowed to detour on nearby county roads, while truck traffic will follow the detour on US-166 to US-75 to US-160.
SKO will begin a similar project next Monday north of Cherryvale.
