Police in Oologah are investigating an accidental shooting at Oologah Lake.

Authorities say the victim and a witness were fishing on Goose Island at Oologah Lake over the weekend when the shooting occurred. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Rogers County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the incident. They say the victim’s family has been notified but the individual’s name has not yet been released.
