A man is dead following a weekend in crash on US-169 near Talala, OK.

39-year-old Wesston LeGrand of Collinsville was killed in the accident that occurred around 2am Saturday morning just north of East 300 Road in Rogers County. LeGrand’s SUV was traveling southbound when it collided with a northbound semi truck. The truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles caught fire and firefighters with Northwest Rogers County Fire Protection, Chelsea Fire and Nowata Fire responded to the scene. US-169 was closed in both directions for several hours until crews were able to clear the scene.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
