Southeast Kansas is well-represented at this year's Kansas State Fair.
Students from the Neodesha FFA Chapter helped care for exhibits at the fair on Saturday morning. Chapter Secretary and Southeast District Vice President Delaney Bradford says it's takes a lot of people to keep everything running at the fair.
An educational display made by the Coffeyville FFA Chapter took reserve champion, while Cooper Springer entered a Santa Maria Grill and another Neodesha student competed in a 4-H style revue. Many 4-H projects from around southeast Kansas including the Wildcat and Southwind received ribbons in everything from baked goods to produce.
Bradford says there's a lot of fun to be had at the fair as well.
The Kansas State Fair wrapped up yesterday in Hutchinson.
