With the budget hearing set for Monday, the Caney City Council is set for a special session tonight to tour fire department facilities.

 The meeting will be held at the fire department, located at 127 North Spring, and the public is invited to attend.

 The public is also invited to attend the regular session meeting and 2026 budget hearing Monday at City Hall. On the agenda, a breakdown of the department numbers for the budget, and a discussion and possible vote to raise the mil rate from 46.784 to 56.

 Both meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.
