The community of Independence will come together this weekend to help a neighbor in need.

 

The Caring 4 Kadels fundraiser will take place tomorrow to raise money for Mary Kadel who is suffering from medical complications.

 

Community members have come together to raise money for her medical expenses with a fun run starting tomorrow at 8:30 at Riverside Park, followed by a pickle ball tournament at the K en Brown Tennis Courts. Admission is a $20 donation and includes a free t-shirt.

 

Lunch will be available tomorrow from 11 to 3 at Patio 210 in Independence with donations welcome, and there will be a special mass at 4:30 at St. Andrew Catholic Church followed by a dinner and auction at at St. Andrew Parish Center. Organizers say there will be some great food available.

 

All events take place tomorrow in Independence.
