Kansas Governor Laura Kelly orders flags to be flown at half staff tomorrow to commemorate the 24th anniversary of 9-11.
The order directs flags across the state to be flown at half staff from sun up to sundown tomorrow in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on Septenber 11, 2001. Kelly stated that the day should be an opportunity to remember the nearly 3,000 lives that were lost that day and to reflect on the bravery and valor demonstrated by our first responders who saved many lives on that fateful day.
