The Neosho County Sheriff's Office is attempting to find the owner of a stray cow.
The stray is either an Angus or Angus cross and has been loose in the area of 110th and Rush Road since August 29th. Deputies have attempted to contact cattle producers in the area and so far no owner has been found. The cow is estimated to be between five to nine years old. The cow was caught, penned and is currently being cared for.
The owner will be responsible for any expenses associated with the stray. If the owner is not located the stray will be sold Wednesday, September 17th at the Parsons Livestock Auction. Anyone missing a cow from this area, should contact the Neosho County Sheriff's Office at (620)244-3888 and provide a description of cow.
