This is the biggest garage sale weekend of the year in southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma.

 

The Kan-Okla 100 Mile Highway Sale starts tomorrow and runs through Saturday. Towns participating include Independence, Coffeyville, Nowata Bartlesville, Caney and towns in between.

 

Independence Chamber Director Lisa Wilson says Independence maps should be available to pick up this afternoon.

 

Wilson says the maps will be available at select Chamber of Commerce member businesses.

 

Maps for sales in Coffeyville will also be available at the Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the Kan-Okla Sale, Fabulous Finds on Kansas 99 will take place Friday and Saturday from the Oklahoma to Nebraska border, which goes through several southeast Kansas towns including Chautauqua, Sedan, Moline, Howard, Climax and Severy.
