A decision regarding USD 446's involvement with the Central Park Sports Complex is expected at next month's school board meeting.
That's the latest following the September meeting, in which the Sports Complex was presented as an information item, rather than an action item on the agenda. USD 446 Superintendent Jason McAfee says he feels one of the proposals sticks out for the district.
Additional items of business included the approval of the 2025-26 district budget as presented, as well as a curriculum update from Director of Learning Services Kellie Puderbaugh. She says the district's effort has stood out at the state level.
The USD 446 Board will meet next on October 14th at 7 p.m. in the library of Independence High School.
