Departmental Reports on Agenda for Montgomery County Commission

 

The Montgomery County Commission is set to meet today and will hear quarterly reports from several county departments.

 

At today’s meeting, commissioners will hear from County Attorney Melissa Johnson and County Building Maintenance Supervisor Jeff Phelps with the quarterly reports from the respective departments. County Register of Deeds Marilyn Calhoun will also give her monthly report to the commission. Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins will also be on hand to discuss a letter from the Kansas Department of Transportation regarding financial compensation for a detour on US-160.

 

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website. The Commission will hold a public hearing on the budget and revenue neutral rate at next week’s meeting.
