Freeman Health Services announce the opening of its new hospital in Fort Scott.

The health care company announced yesterday that its Fort Scott location in now open and ready to see patients after having passed its Kansas Licensure Survey. The hospital closed in the city in 2018 and then the emergency room closed as well in 2023. Freeman then announced its plans to purchase and re-open a 10-bed facility.

The Freeman Fort Scott Hospital is now open and able to provide 24-hour care.
