South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad plans to close and repair its crossing on U.S. 169 near Liberty during the week of Sept. 15th, conditions permitting.

 

U.S. 169 will be closed at the crossing. Detouring traffic will go west on U.S. 166, north on U.S. 75 to U.S. 160, then east on U.S. 160 back to the original route.

 

The Kansas Department of Transportation originally reported that U.S. 166 would be closed at the underpass just east of U.S. 169, but that press release was incorrect. KDOT staff confirmed to KGGF that the closing will be near Liberty.
