Tempers flared once again this week at the Sedan City Council meeting.

 

One citizen spoke during the public comment portion of the meeting, The man says he wants to see one of the council members resign.

 

The man, who introduced himself as a Sedan Police Officer, alleged that Fine had interfered with a traffic stop involving her grandson. During the Council comment portion of the meeting, Fine responded. She says she did nothing wrong.

 

In other business, The City recently changed the date of its budget hearing and posted on social media the intention to send out new mailers to Sedan residents. Chautauqua County Clerk Nikki Collier, who was in attendance at the meeting, says the City cannot send out new mailers.

 

The budget hearing is set for the next Sedan City Council meeting on September 16.
