Montgomery County will hold a public hearing on the 2026 Revenue Neutral rate in county budget on Monday, September 15.

County Adminstrator Jonathan Booe says the public is invited and encouraged to attend the meeting.

Time will be provided to allow citizens to comments on the proposed 2026 budget. The hearings will occur at the regular September 15 County Commission meeting at 9am on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. Anyone in need of special acocomodations in order to attend the meeting should contact the County so arrangements can be made.
