Parsons Police arrest a juvenile suspect in connection to the burglary of a vape shop last month.
In the early morning hours of August 21st, P-P-D officers were dispatched to the Parsons Vape Shop located at 2425 Main Street after a report of a burglary in progress. The store manager had reported seeing two masked individuals inside the business, stealing merchandise.
An investigation into the crime led authorities to identify a 14-year-old male as a suspect in the case. Police served a search warrant on the suspect on August 28th and found him in possession of stolen merchandise from the vape shop as well as clothing matching what the suspect in the burglary was wearing. The juvenile was arrested and taken to the Girard Juvenile Detention Center where he faces charges of burglary, felony theft, and criminal damage to property.
