Contractors are working on a meter replacement project this week for customers in Labette Country Rural Water District #6.

Representatives with the district are providing the heads up in case homeowners see the contractors working on their property. The work is expected to cause minimal disruption to water service.

Labette County RWD #6 includes some customers in eastern Montgomery County and western Labette County between Coffeyville and Edna.
