Two men in Fredonia are facing drug charges following their arrest last week.
On Friday morning, Fredonia Police responded to a residence on Quincy Street following reports of a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on the scene and were able to deescalate the situation. Residents at the home gave police permission to search the property and officers then discovered evidence consistent with drug-related activity. This evidence led officers to obtain a search warrant in order to conduct a more thorough search.
The search revealed 9 grams of cocaine, 111 grams of marijuana, and multiple firearms, including one that had been reported stolen. Two adult males were arrested at the scene and taken to the Wilson County Jail.
Police have not yet released the names of the suspects.
