The Sedan City Council reschedules its budget hearing to September 16.

The hearing was originally set to happen at tonight's regular council meeting, but will instead be pushed back for another two weeks. The City will also send out new mailers to residents informing them about the change. On the agenda for tonight's meeting will be a request for road conditioning from Tom Oast and the Mary Ellen Appleby Memorial. There will also be a discussion on the shipping container at the City baseball fields and a request from resident Welllington Butler. Tonight's meeting will begin at 5:30 at the Sedan 4-H building. The public is invited to attend. The meeting can also be viewed online via the City's Facebook page.
