Two people are injured in a single-vehicle crash in Crawford County on Friday night.

The accident happened around 9:30 Friday night when a 1979 Chevy pickup driven by 31-year-old Christian Puckett of Girard was traveling northbound on K-7 just north of the City of Girard. The passenger side tires of the truck dropped off the edge of the roadway, causing Puckett to overcorrect. His truck then swerved across the road and into the ditch, where it then struck a tree. Puckett and a 6-year-old boy riding with him were both taken to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg with minor injuries.

Neither was wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred.
