It's Labor Day weekend, and many Americans will be hitting the road today for some holiday travel.

 

Shawn Steward with Triple-A Kansas says one of the ways to avoid some extra stress is to avoid peak travel times.

 

Steward adds that drivers need to pay extra attention to construction zones.

 

Nearly 148 million Americans will be on the road this weekend, so if you're traveling, make sure to buckle up so that everyone has a safe holiday trip.
