Roads were closed in Parsons yesterday after a vehicle crashed into a fuel pump at a city gas station.

 

The accident occurred at the Pete's location at 32nd and Main Streets. Roadways and entrances to the convenience store were closed while emergency crews responded to the accident that caused a fuel spill in the area. The Parsons Fire Department and the Labette County Sheriff's Office responded quickly to the scene, and the threat was quickly neutralized, allowing the store and the nearby streets to reopen.

 

No injuries were reported.
