A northwest Arkansas man is accused of killing his husband with a screwdriver after an argument about drugs.

 

39-year-old Gregory Whitt Jr. of Fort Smith was arrested late last week in connection to the first-degree murder of Kevin Whitt on August 21. Authorities say the incident occurred while the two men were camping in a wooded area southeast of Van Buren. Court documents indicate Gregory Whitt told investigators that he had killed the other man after an argument over drugs escalated into a physical fight.

 

Gregory Whitt Jr. is currently being held on a $1million bond.
