The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the deaths of five dogs found shot and dumped near McTaggerts Dam in Liberty last month.
No suspects have been arrested or identified in the case since the bodies of the dogs were discovered on July 9. The Sheriff's Department says the office has received several tips in the case, but all have turned out to be unfounded.
A reward of $1900 is still being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 620-330-1000 or message the Sheriff's Office via their Facebook page.
