A Bourbon County motorcyclist is injured following a collision with a deer.

The accident happened around 7:30 Tuesday night on K-31 about 16 miles north of Fort Scott. 56-year-old Ronald Burton of Mapleton, KS, was traveling northbound on his Harley-Davidson when he collided with a deer that had entered the roadway.

Burton suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to an Overland Park hospital for treatment.
