The first Coffeyville Community College Humanities Project performance of the season has been announced for next week. Chicago-based indie folk musician Ryan Burns will be performing at the Spencer Rounds Theater on the campus next Tuesday, August 26th.
Burns music blends the tradition of Midwest Folk with storytelling and is inspired by the likes of John Prine, Steve Goodman, Paul Simon and Jeff Tweedy and Indie favorites Wilco and Fleet Foxes. He’s noted for his soulful voice and intricate guitar and banjo work.
The performance is free to the public and gets underway at 6:30 next Tuesday evening in the Spencer Rounds Theater.
