A 3-year-old boy from Tuscumbia, Missouri, drowns after falling into the water at the Lake of the Ozarks on Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the toddler was on a pontoon boat when he fell off the back of the boat and went under the water. The boy did not resurface. His body was later recovered from the water.

This is the second child to drown at the Lake of the Ozarks in a week, after a two-year-old girl wandered away from her home and was later discovered in the water on August 13.
