The Independence Community College Board of Trustees has good news for taxpayers.

 

At this week's trustees meeting, board members heard the second reading of the school's proposed 2026 budget. ICC President Dr. Jonathan Sadhoo says the budget will come in just under the current revenue neutral rate.

 

Trustee Patricia Snyder says the credit for the good financial numbers is due to Dr. Sadhoo.

 

In other business, trustees heard reports from the departments of biology, physical science and mathematics, theater, cosmetology, and English. The board voted to maintain those departments at their current funding levels.
