The Kansas Department of Transportation is set to begin repairs on a bridge in Woodson County.
Work will begin today on a bridge deck on US-75 about two and a half miles north of the City of Yates Center. During the project, traffic on the highway will be reduced to one lane, and traffic flow through the work zone will be controlled by traffic signals. Drivers can expect some minor delays. The repairs are being made to allow for smoother traffic in the location. KDOT anticipates the project will be complete by September 1st.
KDOT reminds motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in this and all other work zones. For updates on road and travel conditions, visit kandrive.gov or call 5-1-1.
